Those three dimensional trophies, the collections, the luxuries, the materials…. The higher you climb up the spiritual ladder, the less you need the density of worldly goods to sustain you. This is why ascetics and spiritual seekers renounce all possessions in order to move closer to divinity.
There is nothing wrong with owning things. But are the possessions controlling you? Are you spending time, energy and resources collecting, dusting, cleaning, washing, hanging, maintaining, polishing or hiding your belongings in fear of them being broken or stolen? Could that energy be redirected?
Are you holding on to artifacts that no longer serve you? Pass them on and create space in your reality. Nature abhors a vacuum, right Aristotle? As you share your bounty, more will come in to fill the void. And the new energy that arrives will be a match to who you are now, not who you were when you gathered those things years ago. So let go, dear one. Let go.
Exercise
Ask yourself ‘how little do I really need?” Clear the clutter. Empty the closets. Tithe, purge, share. Move the density and allow in lightness of being.
